Netflix released the trailer for the Swedish psychological crime thriller “A Couple of Lies,” also known as “Bytet,” on Friday.
Based on the novel of the same name by Stefan Ahnhem, the story follows two couples who have never met, but swap homes for vacation. Things go terribly wrong and the police get involved.
Emma Appleton, Fares Fares, Frida Gustavsson and Jakob Oftebro star in the four-part series. Kasper Barfoed (“The Nurse”) directed the Nordic Noir show, which was adapted by Amanda Högberg and Axel Stjärne. It will stream Oct. 30 on Netflix.
