The trailer for the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 1998 romantasy film “Practical Magic” dropped Monday. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return in “Practical Magic 2” as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens. The Owens women are bound by a family curse that dooms the men who love them.

The sisters will try to “confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all.”
Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest return as aunts Frances and Jet Owens. Lee Pace, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod also star.
The first film was adapted from the book of the same name by Alice Hoffman, while the sequel is based on Hoffman’s “The Book of Magic.”
The film will arrive in theaters on Sept. 11.
