‘The Real Wolf of Wall Street’
Streaming July 14 on Paramount+

Featuring never-before-seen footage, FBI documents and interviews with Jordan Belfort’s ex, Paramount+’s documentary “The Real Wolf of Wall Street” goes deeper than the 2013 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The Hollywood film was based on stockbroker Belfort’s 2007 memoir, also called “The Wolf of Wall Street.” It streams on Paramount+ on July 14.

‘Lucky’
Streaming July 15 on Apple TV

Lucky” is an action-packed thriller based on the book of the same name by Marissa Stapley. It follows Lucky (Anya Taylor-Joy) as she’s forced to go on the run after her husband goes missing and a lucrative heist goes wrong. Timothy Olyphant stars as John, Lucky’s father in the series. Also starring Annette Bening, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and William Fichtner, the series is set to premiere on Apple TV on July 15. 

‘Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’
Streaming July 16 on Disney+

Disney’s fifth offering in the “Descendants” franchise is titled “Wicked Wonderland.” The film stars Kylie Cantrall as Red and Malia Baker as Chloe as they travel to Wonderland and encounter the villainous Maddox Hatter (Leonardo Nam). Also starring Brandy and Rita Ora, the film debuts on Disney Channel and Disney+ on July 16. 

‘Map of Longing’
Streaming July 17 on Netflix

The Map of Longing” is a Netflix miniseries based on Alice Kellen’s novel of the same name. The Spanish-language series stars Alicia Falco as Greta, a woman who believes her sole purpose is to save her sister with leukemia through a stem cell transplant. But when her sister Lucy (Georgina Amoros) dies, it leaves Greta with an existential void. Also starring Pablo Alvarez, “The Map of Longing” comes to Netflix on July 17.

‘Heartstopper: Forever’
Streaming July 17 on Netflix

Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) will have to reckon with a long-distance relationship as Nick heads away to college in “Heartstopper Forever.” The movie serves as the series finale of Alice Oseman’s graphic novel adaptation for Netflix. The other characters, Tao (William Gao), Elle (Yasmin Finney), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), Tara (Corinna Brown), Imogen (Rhea Norwood), and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) also have to contend with grown-up choices and the future. “Heartstopper Forever” is based on Oseman’s graphic novel “Heartstopper #6.” It will premiere on July 17 on Netflix.

‘The Odyssey’
In theaters July 17

Matt Damon stars as Odysseus in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of “The Odyssey.” The star-studded cast offers a look at the 10-year journey Odysseus takes to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) after the Trojan War. As Odysseus encounters threat after threat and monster after monster during his perilous journey, Penelope must deal with suitors seeking to lay claim to her and her husband’s kingdom of Ithaca. The film also stars Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Lupita Nyong’o, Will Yun Lee, Mia Goth, Samantha Morton and Elliot Page. It is set to hit theaters July 17.
