‘In the Hand of Dante’
Streaming June 24 on Netflix
Netflix’s drama “In the Hand of Dante” has an all-star cast including Oscar Isaac, Gal Gadot, Gerard Butler, John Malkovich, Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino and Jason Momoa. It tells two parallel stories about the poet Dante Alighieri (Isaac), who attempts to write the text for which he comes best known, “The Divine Comedy.” Isaac also plays modern-day Nick, who is tasked with stealing the original copy of the text. The film is set to debut June 24.
‘Camp Snoopy’ Season 2
Streaming June 26 on Apple TV
Everyone’s favorite black-and-white beagle and his pals Charlie Brown, Lucy and Peppermint Patty, are back in Season 2 of “Camp Snoopy.” The gang have adventures in the great outdoors in the second season of the animated series based on the comic strip first created by Charles Schulz in the 1950s. It premieres June 26 on Apple TV.
‘The Get Out’
In theaters June 26
Russell Crowe stars as an aging nightclub owner trying to retire in filmmaker Derrick Borte’s “The Get Out.” He’s “forced back into a violent game of cat and mouse when masked gunmen (Nina Dobrev, Aaron Paul), cartel threats and a mysterious buyer (Luke Evans) turn his escape plan into a deadly trap,” a summary of the film says. The film, which also stars Teresa Palmer, premieres June 26.
‘Supergirl’
In theaters June 26
“Supergirl,” directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, adapts the graphic novel “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. It follows Supergirl as she helps a young alien girl, Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley), seek justice against the criminal Krem and his gang. David Krumholtz also stars. It premieres in theaters June 26.
