“Clueless,” the 1995 hit film starring Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd and Brittany Murphy, is returning to theaters for two days Sunday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 10.
The film is a reimagining of Jane Austen’s 1815 classic “Emma.” The story follows Cher Horowitz, a rich, popular high school student from Beverly Hills, who tries to do good deeds by playing matchmaker and giving makeovers.
Cher starts to look at things more deeply, including her relationship with her ex-step-brother Josh.
The film is presented by Flashback Cinema, which shows classics on the big screen. Check to see if your local theater is participating here.
Flashback Cinema will present the 1975 classic “Jaws,” which is based on Peter Benchley’s 1974 novel of the same name, on Fourth of July weekend.
