The trailer for the final season of “Good Omens” dropped on Wednesday—and it’s pure chaos.
Season 3 picks up right after the events of the last season—which aired in summer 2023. The trailer shows that Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), the angel/bookstore owner, is now the Supreme Archangel of Heaven. He is in charge of the Second Coming, which, of course, is stressing him out.
Demon Crowley (David Tennant) mourns what could’ve been with Aziraphale and wanders Soho, feeling lost and rejected.
The clip also shows Jesus (Bilal Hasna) taking an elevator down to Earth—and getting lost.
Aziraphale and Crowley come together again to try to save the world and figure out where they stand with each other.
The series finale will premiere on May 13 on Prime Video. Season 3 was originally set to be six episodes but was later reduced to a single, 90-minute episode.
Also returning to the show are Doon Mackichan as Michael, Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Liz Carr as Saraqael, Paul Chahidi as Sandalphon, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel and Sir Derek George Jacobi as The Metatron.
The series, which premiered in 2019, is based on the 1990 novel “Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch” by Neil Gaiman and the late Sir Terry Pratchett. The comedy follows the aftermath of the birth of Satan and angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley working together to stop the apocalypse.
