‘The Testaments’
Streaming April 8 on Hulu
Ann Dowd reprises her role as Aunt Lydia in Hulu’s upcoming drama, based on Margaret Atwood’s 2019 novel and set within the world of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The coming-of-age story follows teens Agnes and Daisy as they navigate life in Gilead and the strict rules of Aunt Lydia’s elite school for future wives. “The Testaments” premieres April 8 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
‘The Boys’ Season 5
Streaming April 8 on Prime Video
The fifth and final season of “The Boys” will stream on April 8. The Prime Video series follows a world where superheroes are as famous as celebrities and as powerful as politicians—and often abuse their abilities.
‘The Miniature Wife’
Streaming April 9 on Peacock
Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen star in Peacock’s upcoming dark comedy, based on a short story by Manuel Gonzales. The series explores power imbalances in a relationship after a husband’s tech experiment shrinks his wife. “The Miniature Wife” premieres April 9.
‘Hamlet’
In theaters April 10
Oscar-winner Riz Ahmed stars in a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” The story is set in modern-day London’s elite South Asian community. Morfydd Clark and Joe Alwyn also star, and Aneil Karia directs. It releases in theaters April 10.
