This week, a bunch of books took their first big steps toward the screen. Here’s a roundup of the teasers and trailers that dropped between March 8 and 14, 2026.
‘Remarkably Bright Creatures’
Netflix shared a teaser from its adaptation of Shelby Van Pelt’s bestselling 2022 novel, “Remarkably Bright Creatures” Tuesday. The film stars Sally Field as Tova, Alfred Molina as the voice of Marcellus the octopus and Lewis Pullman as Cameron. It will premiere May 8.
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’
Expanding on the first film and book by Lauren Weisberger, “The Devil Wears Prada,” Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) returns to Runway Magazine as its features editor. Original cast returning for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” also include Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. The film hits theaters May 1.
‘13 Days 13 Nights’
Samuel Goldwyn Films shared a trailer for the U.S. release of the French film “13 Days, 13 Nights.” Exploring the fall of Kabul as U.S. forces withdraw from Afghanistan in 2021, the film stars Roschdy Zem, Lyna Khoudri and Sidse Babett Knudsen. It’s based on the non-fiction book “13 jours, 13 nuits dans l’enfer de Kaboul” by Mohamed Bida and is set to hit U.S. theaters on March 27.
