‘Detective Hole’

Jo Nesbø’s 2003 novel “The Devil’s Star” is coming to the screen as “Detective Hole,” starring Tobias Santelmann as troubled detective Harry Hole opposite Joel Kinnaman as his adversary, corrupt cop Tom Waaler. Øystein Karlsen and Anna Zackrisson direct. The series premieres March 26.

‘Hamlet’

Oscar-winner Riz Ahmed stars in a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” The story is set in modern-day London’s elite South Asian community. Morfydd Clark and Joe Alwyn also star, and Aneil Karia directs. It releases in theaters April 10.

‘Pride and Prejudice’

Jane Austen’s 1813 classic is getting adapted again, this time with Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy. Rufus Sewell and Oscar-winner Olivia Colman star as Mr. and Mrs. Bennet. Dolly Alderton wrote the script. Netflix released a teaser for the series earlier this week.

‘Project Hail Mary’

Ryan Gosling previews “Project Hail Mary,” based on Andy Weir’s 2021 novel of the same name. He stars as Ryland Grace, a science teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship light-years from Earth with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, Grace realizes he has been sent on a mission to solve a cosmic mystery threatening humanity. The film premieres March 20.

  1. Already have tickets for Hail Mary and can’t wait to see it. I’m curious about Hamlet and Pride & Prejudice. I didn’t know those were coming out. Thanks for keeping us informed!
