‘Last Seen’
Streaming Sept. 9 on Apple TV

Patrick Brammall stars as Ian Ridley in Apple TV’s new thriller series “Last Seen.” Set in Australia, it is an adaptation of the book “The Dispatcher” by Ryan David Jahn. 

Brammall plays a police detective-turned-dispatcher whose life fell apart when his daughter disappeared. After 11 years, he still hasn’t given up hope that she’s still alive, and a desperate call from a teen girl renews his vow to find her. The series, which also stars Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell and Daniel Henshall, premieres Sept. 9 on Apple TV.

‘Drawn Together’
Streaming Sept. 9 on Prime Video

“Drawn Together,” the book-to-film adaptation of “Marfil,” is the first installment of the “Enfrentados” duology by author Mercedes Ron.

Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García star, and a sequel, “Drawn Apart,” has been announced as part of Prime Video’s “House of Ron.” Óscar Pedraza will direct the film, with Sofía Cuenca as writer.  It will premiere Sep. 9 on Prime Video.

‘The Perfect Lie’
Streaming Sept. 10 on Netflix

The Dutch drama, “The Perfect Lie,” is based on the best-selling novel “The Dinner Club” by Saskia Noort. Dorien Goertzen and Jop Esmeijer are co-writers of the series. The cast includes Loes Haverkort, Teun Luijkx, Remko Vrijdag, Rifka Lodeizen, Charlie-Chan Dagelet, Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, Noortje Herlaar and Edwin Jonker.  

“Luxurious dinners, fine wines and carefully curated evenings are gradually undermined by distrust, deception and betrayal,” a synopsis of the series reads. “What appears to be an enviable lifestyle begins to unravel, turning into a dangerous game in which everyone has something to hide and something to lose.” It will stream on Sept. 10 on Netflix.

‘Don’t Move’
In theaters Sept. 11

“Don’t Move” is an adaptation of the horror novel of the same name by James Murray and Darren Wearmouth. The book follows widow Megan Forrester (Lyndsy Fonseca) as she joins a church group on a camping trip. While on the retreat in the Ozark wilderness, the campers meet with a terrifying and deadly predator—a large, prehistoric arachnid that hunts by vibration. Authors Murray and Wearmouth wrote the script for the film, which also stars Tom Cavanaugh and Rob Riggle. Maclain Nelson directed. It hits theaters Sept. 11.

‘Practical Magic 2’
In theaters Sept. 11 

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens in “Practical Magic 2,” the sequel to the 1998 romantasy film “Practical Magic.” The Owens women are bound by a family curse that dooms the men who love them. Joey King stars as Kylie, who learns about the curse and sets out to reverse it, forcing Sally and Gillian to work together to find her. Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest return as aunts Frances and Jet Owens. Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod also star. It premieres in theaters on Sept. 11.

‘Robin Roberts Presents Angel in the Rubble: The Genelle Guzman Story’
Streaming Sept. 12 on Lifetime

“Robin Roberts Presents Angel in the Rubble: The Genelle Guzman Story” is based on Genelle Guzman’s memoir “Angel in the Rubble: The Miraculous Rescue of 9/11’s Last Survivor.” Sherri Shepherd plays Guzman, a NYC transit worker who was buried in rubble after the North Tower collapsed on 9/11. She was trapped for 27 hours until a man rescued her. Dondré Whitfield portrays Genelle’s boyfriend Roger.  It streams on Lifetime on Sept. 12.

‘High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam’
Streaming Sept. 13 on TNT 

Joel Kinnaman stars as real-life analyst John Nixon, the first CIA officer to interrogate Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein (Waleed Zuaiter), in “High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam.” 

“As Nixon seeks answers from the former Iraqi leader in his search for weapons of mass destruction, he is forced to confront the far-reaching consequences of the U.S. invasion of Iraq and the ramifications that would reverberate around the world for decades to come,” a synopsis of the series reads. 

The series is inspired by Nixon’s memoir “Debriefing the President.” Also starring Lena Gora, Rebecca Night, Tom Berenger, Paul Ryan, Christopher McDonald, Dar Salim, Matt Barr, Ewan Miller and Talia Balsam, the series is set to premiere Sept. 13 on TNT.
