‘Summerwater’
Streaming May 25 on Acorn TV

The series adaptation of Sarah Moss’ “Summerwater” follows groups of people getting away from the hustle of daily life in a copse of cabins in remote Scotland. Each is wrapped up in their own concerns, but tensions rise as they all begin to notice something isn’t quite right with one of the families. Starring Shirley Henderson, Dougray Scott and Valene Kane, the series premieres on Acorn TV on May 25.

‘Spider-Noir’
Streaming May 25 on MGM+, May 27 on Prime Video

“Spider-Noir” will premiere May 27 on Prime Video, following its world premiere on May 25 on MGM+. Nicolas Cage stars as Ben Reilly, a private investigator who becomes Spider-Noir. Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Karen Rodriguez, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson also star.

‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ Season 2
Streaming May 27 on Netflix

Pippa Fitz-Amobi gets embroiled in another mystery in Season 2 of “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.” After solving the disappearance of Andie Bell, Pip (Emma Myers) learns of the disappearance of Jamie (Eden H Davies), the brother of her friend Connor (Jude Morgan-Collie). Season 2 adapts the second book in Holly Jackson’s trilogy titled “Good Girl, Bad Blood.” The new season debuts May 27.

‘Legally Blonde’ 25th Anniversary
In theaters May 27

“Legally Blonde” is based on the 2001 novel by Amanda Brown, who drew inspiration from her experiences at Stanford Law School. Reese Witherspoon stars as Elle Woods, a sorority queen who heads to Harvard Law School after a breakup and quickly proves everyone wrong about her. Luke Wilson and Selma Blair also star. It’s the perfect time to watch as the film’s prequel series “Elle” will premiere on Prime Video on July 1.

‘Pressure’
In theaters May 29

World War II—and the weather—are the focus of the Andrew Scott-led film “Pressure.” The film tells the story of the meteorologist responsible for making sure the Allied powers chose the correct time to launch the D-Day attack to end the war. The film is an adaptation of the David Haig stage play by the same name. It also stars Brendan Fraser and Damian Lewis and hits theaters May 29.

‘Propeller One-Way Night Coach’
Streaming May 29 on Apple TV

John Travolta’s film “Propeller One-Way Night Coach” is an adaptation of the actor’s 1997 children’s book of the same name. The film follows a young airplane aficionado, Jeff (Clark Shotwell), and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) on a one-way cross-country trip to Hollywood. The flight turns into an adventure for Jeff, who meets the pilot, charismatic passengers and friendly flight attendants. It will debut on Apple TV on May 29.
