Filmmaker Lin-Manuel Miranda is reteaming with his “Hamilton” castmates Jonathan Groff and Phillipa Soo for the upcoming adaptation of the musical “The Octet.”

Miranda announced the casting news in a post on Instagram, adding that “rehearsals have begun.”

Also joining the cast are Amanda Seyfried, Rachel Zegler, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Gaten Matarazzo, Tramell Tillman and Paul-Jordan Jansen. 

Miranda is directing the adaptation of Dave Malloy’s Off-Broadway musical about a group of internet addicts attending a support group. The members of the group share their experiences with technology via song. 

Malloy is adapting his own script and will executive produce.
